A Message from Our Principal

Hello, my name is Denise Taylor, and this is my second year as the principal for Mountain Vista Middle School. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, my teaching degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and my Masters Degree in 2002 in K-12 Administration and Curriculum and Instruction from Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is my fourth year with the Coolidge Unified School District.

In addition to our strong emphasis on academics, we offer a full array of sports. We have girls’ softball, volleyball, basketball, soccer, and cheerleading. For the boys, we have baseball, tackle football, basketball, soccer, and wrestling.

We offer honors sections in language arts and math, with eighth grade students having the chance to take Algebra I and earn a high school math credit at San Tan Foothills High School. They walk into high school with a credit in math, which affords them the opportunity to take higher-level math courses in their junior and senior years, better preparing them for college.

For more information about our school, check out our website, where you can view our parent survey results, and see what we have been up to.

Welcome to the Wolverine Family!

Sincerely,

Denise E. Taylor, Principal
